Enrolment 2024

Thursday 22 August 2024

Posted by Moulton College

You may have heard of enrolment but what does it really entail? And what can you expect when becoming a student at Moulton College?

Enrolment kicks off your time at Moulton College, where you are officially enrolled onto your course and become part of #TeamMoulton. There’s a lot to take in on your enrolment day so we’ve broken it down into simple steps, so you know exactly what to expect when you get here!

Step 1 – Getting your GCSE results

On Thursday 22 August 2024 you will get your GCSE results from your school. If you get the results you are expecting, excellent!

You just need to attend enrolment on the day and time you have been advised in your Joining Pack.

If you haven’t got the results you are expecting, don’t panic!

There’s a good chance you can still enrol onto a course at the College, it may just be at a lower level. We will have both course tutors and support teams available on results day if you need help or advice. You can call us on 01604 419131 or pop in to talk to someone face to face.

Step 2 – Arriving for Enrolment

You will have received an email and a text message from us confirming the date and time of your enrolment. This will vary depending on the subject and course you have applied for. It is very important that you arrive on time to ensure enrolment is a smooth process.

You will need to arrive at Gate 1 - Main Site and your Course Manager will greet you outside the Learning Hub. At this point you will receive your Enrolment Passport. Keep this safe as it will contain all the vital information about starting your course, including your first day.

Step 3 – Getting in Line

Your Course Manager will then take you inside the Learning Hub and up the stairs to queue up for enrolment. Your Course Manager will check your qualifications, ensure you are on the right course and add this and other course details, including details of your induction, to your Passport.

Step 4 – English and Maths

Next, you’ll head over to the English and maths team for them to check your qualifications and confirm if you will be enrolled onto either of these courses as well.

Step 5 – Student Services

Here you will be officially enrolled by our Student Services team and become a bonafide student at Moulton College!

You’ll sign the Learner’s Agreement and have your photo taken for your student ID.

Step 6 – Transport

Lastly, you’ll head back downstairs to visit our Transport team who will provide you with your holographic sticker for your student ID, which will be needed to board the College bus.

If you’re not going to be using College transport jump straight to the last step!

Step 7 – Take a Selfie!

Before you head off home, we welcome you to take a selfie in our balloon arch. Post your selfie on Instagram, tag us and use #TeamMoulton2024 and you could be in with a chance to win a £25 Amazon voucher!
