Moulton College to host solar industry open event

Moulton College is hosting an event on Monday 4th March 2024 to share the huge array of career opportunities on offer in the solar industry.

Net Zero is on the horizon and, with a huge increase in the amount of people buying EVs and solar panels, the UK’s solar capacity is set to grow five-fold in the next 10 years. With a range of opportunities on offer, there’s never been a better or more exciting time to join the industry.

The event will feature several leading employers from the sector who are on the lookout for local talent keen to learn new skills and build a successful career in renewable energy.

GenCarbon: Local firm GenCarbon will be on hand to discuss training opportunities, working in solar installation and the benefits of joining the ‘Green Revolution’

EvoEnergy: As the UK’s leading renewable energy firm, EvoEnergy will be showcasing the huge range of opportunities they have on offer

NextEnergy Group: Global firm NextEnergy will be highlighting asset and investment management opportunities via their Early Careers and internships programmes

Anesco: renewable energy company Anesco will give an insight into career paths and job opportunities within the solar, energy storage and energy efficiency sector.

EDF Renewables UK: Major renewable energy company EDF will be at the event to share the opportunities available in the fast-growing sector

GivEnergy: Energy management solutions provider GivEnergy will be sharing information on the opportunities on offer behind their portfolio of energy equipment

Solis: Energy storage product and solutions manufacturer Solis will be sharing what goes into making, marketing, servicing and selling their world-leading inverters
