Meet Aaron Cole our Stonemasonry Lecturer who has been with the College since 2022.
Aaron has worked as a Banker Mason for various projects including private property and Heritage buildings. He has worked for a company producing high end modern masonry staircasing and has taught in both mainstream and SEN schools. Aaron's specialisms include Baker Masonry and letter carving and he is also a member of the Worshipful Company of Masons.
In his spare time Aaron enjoys art and architecture, films and martial arts.
It's rewarding to see students at the start of the course with little or no ability using a mallet and chisel to go on to be able to produce accurate and complex mouldings by hand by the end of the course.
