Meet Catherine Duro our Head of Governance at Moulton College, who started in August 2023.
Catherine specialises in Governance and Corporate Services and has been working in the FE sector since 2008. Her experience covers a range of corporate service roles, including governance as well as Vice Principal for Corporate Services. Catherine has worked in 7 colleges, and has been fascinated by the similarities and differences across the sector.
Catherine likes a target and is currently on route to complete the London Classics. This includes the 100 mile Ride London bike ride and the London Marathon, completed in 2022 and 2023 respectively, and she will be completing the 2 mile open water Serpentine Swim in 2024. When she is not training Catherine likes to spend time outdoors with her family or buried in a good book.
I enjoy the birds eye view governance gives of all areas of a college, enabling questions to be asked to drive continual improvement, whilst working with some great people.
