Dr. Amber Coste joined us in June 2023 as a lecturer in Animal Welfare and Management. Amber has a passion for Whales and Dolphins, Skeletal Anatomy and Cat rescue work.
Amber has been employed in academia since 2021 and has worked as both a researcher and lecturer in New Zealand and the UK. Her subject specialisms include Palaeontology, Cetaceans and Functional Morphology and Amber has been author on several publications on Cetaceans.
Amber has also held active roles and committee positions in cat rescues across the world for over 7 years including, Cat Resuce Dunedin (NZ), Le Chat Libre Azureen (Fr) and Cats Protection (UK).
What I enjoy most about my role is helping students find and follow their passions and support their research.
