Matt Thorley - Lecturer in Animal Welfare and Management

Meet Matt Thorley, one of our Animal Welfare and Management lecturers who started working at Moulton College in April 2008.

Matt has 15 years experience working in Aquatic Centres from Maidenhead Aquatics to specialist Koi importers as well as 4 years experience working in sports fisheries such as Eyebrook and Pitsford trout reservoirs. He also has experience working in salmonid fish farms. As you may be able to tell Matt specialises in Aquatics and Ornamental Fishery management as well as Sports Fishery management.

Matt is also interested in keeping invertebrates, fishing and clay pigeon shooting in his spare time.

I enjoy supporting the next generation of Animal enthusiasts and helping grow their interests in their chosen field (hopefully aquatics!)
