Meet Megan Thomas, our passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant joined us in September 2022. With a wealth of experience in animal welfare and management, Megan completed her Extended Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and is now working towards her bachelor’s degree in Applied Zoology. Her relevant industry experience includes working as a dog groomer, helping on different farms, and providing knowledge on different training techniques for dogs.
When Megan isn't busy learning about animals, she can be found lost in the woods with her dogs or reading a good fantasy book (or two). Her love for teaching stems from her passion for learning and helping others. As she pursues her bachelor's degree, she will also be doing her Level 3 teaching. Megan's favourite part about teaching is building others' passion for the subject and encouraging them to follow whatever path they want to go in, no matter how scary.
