Meet Rachel Roy, our lecturer in Food Technology who joined the College in October 2018.
Rachel has worked in the hospitality and catering industry for a number of years including working Royal Ascot and Cheltenham races. She has run a number of functions including wedding and completed a sourdough training course in France in 2023.
Rachel specialises in Bakery, hospitality and catering and enjoys learning about food and nutrition. In her spare time Rachel likes to read and stay fit and healthy.
I enjoy seeing the students progress and learn the science of what food ingredients do in baking and how this is applied.
