Sam began her role as Head of Animal Welfare in April 2019, where she lead a large team of subject specialists across the College's FE and HE provision. Sam is responsible for delivering a quality, industry relevant and exciting curriculum to Moulton's animal students. She also oversees the running of the Animal Welfare Centre to ensure the Centre continuously meets learner needs and students have ample opportunity to develop animal welfare industry behaviours.
Since leaving school at 16, Sam studied Animal Care and after college decided to study a degree in Veterinary Health Studies. She progressed onto a Masters degree in Animal Welfare, and completed her research project in Canine Physiotherapy - a keen interest of hers.
Sam comments:
"Aside from the beautiful setting, I love that every day at Moulton is different. Being part of the journey and providing support to the next generation of Animal Welfare specialists is the most rewarding part of my job."
