T-Levels are a gold standard in vocational education training. They are a Level 3, two-year qualification that combines classroom theory, practical learning and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to help you develop your industry-specific skills.
T-Levels combine class-based learning with an industry placement, giving you the chance to get hands-on experience and learn what a real career is like while you continue your studies. They have been designed in collaboration with employers so you can be sure that you are being taught the skills that employers are looking for. You'll also get a nationally recognised qualification when you pass.
Every T-Level includes an on-the-job industry placement with an employer, with 315 hours (approximately 45 days) of content and training within your chosen sector, either as a day release or a block of days together. Workplace learning focuses on developing the practical and technical skills you need.
T-Levels are a new award that are equivalent to three A-Levels. They come with UCAS tariff points and can be used for entry to Higher Education courses. They accept T-Levels for entry onto undergraduate degree courses (including extended courses with a foundation year) and Degree Apprenticeships.
