Leanne Kinsella is a highly motivated individual who pursued her passion for animal welfare and management. Her love for animals started at an early age, and she volunteered at a vet clinic and walked dogs to earn extra money while in school. She later completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management here at Moulton College, which gave her an opportunity to work at a local zoo and get hands-on experience in different animal species.
Leanne's experience in animal welfare and management continued with her BSc in Zoo Biology, where she travelled to Botswana to do an official animal tracking course and interned at Knowsley Safari before securing a permanent job. She moved on to Twycross Zoo to gain more experience with different animal species, focusing on hoof-stock, and then transitioned into education, teaching FE students animal management courses, where she currently works. Leanne's passion for animal welfare and management is evident in the way she teaches and trains her students. She is an inspiration to the next generation of animal keepers and continues to make a positive impact in the field.
