Who is this course for?

This course has been designed for adults (19+) and provides significant professional development for those already working with horses using hydrotherapy equipment and contributes to IEH membership criteria.

What does the course entail?

Teaching delivery will include both classroom theory sessions and practical sessions covering the following modules:

  • Introduction to Equine Hydrotherapy
  • Introduction to Equine Health and Welfare
  • Introduction to Equine Anatomy and Physiology
  • Introduction to Equine Evolution, Domestication and Behaviour
  • Assist with the Application of Equine Hydrotherapy
  • Introduction to Customer Care
  • Introduction to Equine Hydrotherapy Plant and Equipment Maintenance

Who will be teaching?

In association with the Moulton Equine Therapy Centre, sessions will be primarily delivered by Dr Jessica York PhD MIRVAP (IEH) who is the senior Equine Hydrotherapist and will be supported by other members of the team.

When will the course be running?

Our next course is scheduled to run from Sunday 8 September and then every Monday from 9am-4pm and one Sunday per month from 9-5pm.

What is the cost?

The course is £844.00* with the potential to be fully funded by the government for those that qualify.
