We are looking for Lecturer in Plumbing to join our growing Construction team at our Higham Ferrers site. We have exceptional facilities here, students are able to benefit from our extensive range of resources that are designed to ensure students get a realistic experience of working to an industrial standard.
This role is key in our Construction team, and we are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to ensure provision of this course is kept to our high standards.
You will:
- Teach across a broad curriculum from Level 1 - 3. You will act as a course tutor to full-time and part-time groups and undertake the associated organisation, administration, and monitoring of attendance.
- Participate in curriculum development to meet the needs of changing industrial demands and College development.
- Participate in demonstrations and practical activities with students and trainees on all courses.
There is a lot of potential to grow this area of the curriculum, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the College is best placed to serve the needs of industry and our students.

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
- Strong industry experience in Plumbing.
- Ability to motivate students
- Excellent teaching and pastoral care skills
- Level 3 minimum qualification in relevant subject area.
- Teaching and assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards this).
