Personal Development & Enrichment Lead

We are looking for a Personal Development & Enrichment Lead to lead the Personal Development & Enrichment Programme and sessions to an outstanding standard.

We are looking for a candidate to start ready for the next academic year (August, 2024).

We have a team of Personal Development Tutors that deliver group sessions covering Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare, Enrichment and Work-ready topics. This role will coach, mentor and train staff, deputise in the absence of the Student Experience Manager and assist in the development of the provision.

You will also undertake a reduced timetable of session delivery and some 1 to 1 planned sessions with students.

You will take responsibility for cross-college enrichment and developing a student led approach to extra-curricular activities.

This is a key role at the College to continue to enhance and develop this provision.

You will:

  • Lead the Personal Development and Enrichment programme and sessions to an outstanding standard.
  • Provide effective pastoral support through the delivery of well-planned group sessions covering Personal Development, Behaviour, Welfare, Enrichment and Work-ready topics.
  • Provide high quality 1 to 1 student support.
  • Take responsibility for cross-college enrichment provision.

The skills, experience and qualities of the ideal candidate would be:

  • Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring staff in an education setting
  • Experience of leading the delivery of learning experiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
